Solutions for data delays, empty charts, access errors, and export problems.
Most Mizan Healthcare demo issues fall into one of five categories: local data not showing, access denied, charts empty, filters not working, or PDF export failing. This guide covers the likely causes and fixes for each.
Data syncs every 5 minutes. If data is more than 15 minutes old: (1) Check the data version indicator at the top of the dashboard — it shows the last successful sync time. (2) Ask your administrator to check the ETL job status in the Admin portal under System → ETL Jobs. (3) If the sync is failing, the most common cause is a schema change in the source ERP system that broke the field mapping.
First, clear all filters (click Reset in the filter bar) and check if data appears. If it does, your filter combination has no matching data — try a wider date range. If data is still empty after clearing filters, the data pipeline may not have loaded data for that entity or period yet. Check with your administrator.
If you see an Access Denied error or certain menu items are missing, your demo session role may not include permission for that feature. Keep production role design out of the frontend-only demo unless it becomes a Mizan Healthcare follow-up requirement.
PDF generation requires the report to be fully loaded before export. Wait for all charts to finish loading, then click Download PDF. If the PDF is blank or shows a loading spinner, try refreshing the report page and waiting 10 seconds before exporting again. If the issue persists, contact your administrator — the PDF service may need a restart.
If filters appear to be set but the data does not change, try clearing filters, refreshing the page with the filter parameters in the URL, or resetting the browser session for the local demo.
If data has not updated for more than 1 hour and the ETL job shows as 'running' with no progress, the job may be stuck. Your administrator should restart it from the Admin portal.
For persistent issues that affect multiple users, ask your administrator to check the System Health page in the Admin portal — it shows real-time error rates and connector status.
